Hi, we are Doug and Jana Boven, we have been married for 25 years and for most of that we loved to vacation in the High Country. We decided to make this home and to transition our experiences in Real Estate to this area. Between us we have 26 years of combined Real Estate experience. Jana started in Real Estate as a broker’s agent in 1999 working for Allen Tate in Rock Hill, SC. After two years she began a long career as a builders agent working in various communities around South Charlotte and Fort Mill/Rock Hill SC.
Doug got his broker’s license in 2016 after spending 25 years working in advertising/marketing in various capacities. Working with us provides you with many advantages. We have been Real Estate investors for over twenty years buying and fixing up houses both to resell and to use as rentals. We have owned both long term and vacation rentals so we know first-hand the challenges and rewards of that business. Our experience in the High Country has allowed us to become familiar with mountain properties, both houses and land, and the unique challenges of dealing with terrains, roads and challenging parking. Doug’s experience in advertising/marketing has been a great asset for listings. He uses web pages, Facebook, direct mail and print advertising to help sell properties.
Jana’s experience as a builder’s agent allows her to decorate and furnish properties so that they show to their greatest potential. Doug and Jana are both very excited to bring their talents to A1 Mountain Realty and to help buyers and sellers to realize the greatest value in their real estate transactions.
